How things change

Right after my last entry, our life was flipped upside down and inside out...I am not even sure where to start, but alot has changed around here. I am working full time now and Wyatt is 3! He goes to mother's day out twice a week and then Mackenzie comes the other 3 days. Wyatt is all growed up, as he puts it, "I am big now mom, I am not a baby, I was a baby, but now I am big.". Things Wyatt loves these days-swimming (yesterday he swam under the water with no water wings!), toys (ie. guns, cars, trucks, dress up, trains), being a real cowboy and telling everyone of his adventures. He is fully potty trained now (has been for a while) and let me tell you---it makes everyone's lives so much easier. It is pretty amazing but he basically decided to potty train and then was. He is just so grown up! He talks alot, always observing the passerby, commenting on his surroundings. He is very observant and nothing...I mean nothing gets by him. Example- I got a new iphone, Wyatt comes up to me, "Mom, are you talking on your ipod?"...who knew he knew what an ipod is? He is the sweetest boy, always telling us how he loves us and giving us hugs and kisses. He loves story time and his favorite show is Ni Hao, Kai-Lan. Other then that, we just had his big beach ball birthday party and he recently returned from almost 3 weeks in "Tontana", which is the first time I have been away from him for more then a night! I will try to keep this updated a little more again, but its hard!

Wow. Has it really been that long?

I think I am officially the worlds worst "blogger". Wyatt is two and a half (plus) now. Instead of me telling you all about it, I'll use the 'ol "picture worth a thousand" adage. Enjoy.

First Date

Wyatt had a girl over yesterday! His little friend Anna came over for lunch and they had a chaperoned play-date. He was a little weary of her and didn't want to share his colours, but all in all they had fun and Wyatt hopes for a second date really soon! I'll have to add the pictures later ;)

Poo Poo in the Potty!

Ok. No pictures but I had to post! Wyatt went poo poo in the potty. He has been aware of the urge to go since around 15-16 months, but I have not really been able to get him to go on the potty (he usually chickens out). Anyway, today he came to me and was making a "poo poo" face so I asked him if he wanted to go poo poo in the potty and he said-- yeah! So we raced in there and I set him on and could tell he was about to go and then he started to try to get off and I was like "no no you are doing so good...its coming the poo poo is coming!!" Sidenote: these are the conversations you have with a two year old. So then all of a sudden: ta da. The poo poo!! He was SO proud and we wiped and flushed, washed hands then jumped around the house doing the poo poo in the potty dance (a little diddy I made up on the spot because I am good like that-Mia Micheals watch out). Anyway, I am just so proud of him! Yeah!
